The purpose of the Grounds Committee is to represent the interests of the HOA in the upkeep of grounds, common area, recreation area, pool area, and other amenities of our Steubing Ranch Community. It is made up of volunteers that live in Steubing Ranch that want to assure our Community is beautiful and a place to proudly call home for the residents.
The Grounds Committee assists the Board/Property Management Company to resolve resident complaints and suggestions regarding common area grounds care. It also coordinates with the Board/Property Management Company to organize community volunteers to perform tasks to beautify and otherwise improve common grounds. It further assists in reviewing applications for projects involving tree removal and planting, landscaping on common ground, and installing or changing underground sprinkling systems.
The primary functions of the committee are:
- Advise and give recommendations to the Board concerning the maintenance, modification, and replacement of property and facilities within its area of cognizance.
- Participate in long range planning for maintenance of property within its scope.
- Recommend and justify capital improvement projects to the Board.
- Make recommendations to the Board regarding projects within its area of cognizance.
- Review proposed solicitations and evaluate proposals as requested by the Board.
